Mihails has PhD degree in physics and is experienced scientist with main focus on applied science in the fields of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), electromagnetic technologies, tribology and steel. He worked as a principal investigator and led research projects in metallurgy, wind turbines industry and some other related industries.
In 2014, Mihails found an engineering consulting enterprise called Intelligent Way with the portfolio of few finite element analysis (FEA) projects. In late 2016, Dr. Ščepanskis began the project called CENOS – the affordable platform for engineering simulation (computer-aided engineering) with the main idea to inter-connect and enhance usability of open source codes. He acts as CEO and a team leader since incorporation of CENOS LLC in early 2017.
Mihails is generally interested in technologically loaded business projects in the fields of engineering software, wind energy and space technologies.
